We are working with a well establish (and very well-funded) start-up in the gaming and fitness space who are looking for a Senior Insight and Data Analyst to help support its new Google Analytics suite as well as provide valuable insight into the paid marketing data.
You will need a whole host of technical skills to interrogate the data and provide meaningful, actionable insights back to the team. The foremost of these is SQL. Other skills of interest will include Python, R, SAS, SPSS but SQL is by far the most important.
Any experience with data visualisation would be a big plus. Tableau is the tool of choice, however, if you have experience with others (Power BI, QlikView/Sense, Looker etc.) then this will also be looked at favourably.
You will be given a lot of freedom in this role to provide insight into very rich and available data but be prepared to work on a lot of ad-hoc requests as well. This is a fast-paced working culture within a company that is expanding rapidly, and it is looking for people with solid communication skills to help propel them forward.
This isn’t just an analyst role; it’s really looking for someone to help build the analytics environment and push data across the entire marketing function.

- Solid SQL skills
- Experience with Google Analytics (ideally implementation but we are flexible on this)
- A user of Google Analytics, essential
- Worked with/within a marketing function previously – ideally Paid Media but not essential
- Be able to demonstrate multiple tangible business benefits through the insight you have provided

With Covid, these guys are fully remote at the moment but do foresee a return to the office at some point in 2021 (hopefully). When the time comes, they expect you to be in the office 2/3 days per week. The office is based in London.
