I am working in partnership with a social research business requiring a Product Change Manager for a 12 month fixed term contract at £50k per annum.
There are three key areas to this role:
At a high level they are looking for someone to effectively help them commercialise their development team, this is about getting the business to the point where they can start selling the product as a self-serve offering. The end goal being to have an externally launched stand alone, bought product and they can start to see return on investment.
The ideal person would be excited about building a team and the coaching/mentorship elements + cultural aspects of bringing the consulting and development teams together – there are a number of ideas that will come from the consulting arm and form the basis for POC’s and customisations within the product, due to their client knowledge.
Additionally, someone who can help embed and document process within the development team – better understand/act on requirements, acceptance criteria and carry it through to release. Technical knowledge is great, but this role is more about being able to speak to the tech guys as opposed to actaully doing the hands on.
